Welcome! I'm so glad you are here.

Still Becoming - Even on the hard days

Still Becoming - Even on the hard days

Today was one of those days where nothing went right.

Plans didn’t happen. The mess grew instead of shrinking.

And the weight of everything I’m trying to juggle felt heavier than usual. If I’m honest, there was a moment where I wondered if this dream — Buckets to Blooms — was simply too much.

The holidays have a way of doing that, don’t they? They pile on expectations, deadlines, and pressure to keep going even when we’re already tired. And before we realize it, overwhelm starts whispering lies: Maybe I should give this up. Maybe I’m not cut out for this. Maybe it shouldn’t be this hard.

But then I remembered something important.

Dreams don’t fall apart on hard days.

They get tested there.

Missing a day doesn’t erase the calling.

A messy space doesn’t mean you’ve failed.

Feeling like quitting doesn’t mean you actually should.

Sometimes it simply means you’ve cared deeply… and you’re worn down.

“Still becoming” has been sitting heavy on my heart lately, because this season of life isn’t about having it all figured out. It’s about learning as you go. Growing in real time. Taking small steps forward even when momentum feels gone.

There is so much grace in unfinished places.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed this holiday season — behind, tired, or stretched too thin — please hear this: you are not failing. You are not behind. You are not weak for needing rest.

You’re still becoming.

Tonight doesn’t need fixing. Tomorrow doesn’t need perfection. Sometimes the bravest thing we do is stop pushing, breathe, and give ourselves permission to begin again — slowly.

“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” — Isaiah 40:29

Keep blooming — even on the days when becoming feels heavy.
