Dreaming While I’m Still Building

Lately, I keep catching myself daydreaming about an old building somewhere — full of character, creaky floors, and stories in the walls.

The funny part? I don’t even fully know what I’d do with it yet.

A workshop.
A creative space.
Maybe a place where antiques, restoration, and gatherings all live under one roof.

I just know the idea keeps tugging at my heart.

And the truth is… Buckets to Blooms is still very new. I still have so much room to grow right where I am. Some days I’m just trying to keep up with orders, projects, and everyday life.

But my mind keeps dreaming anyway.

Ideas pop in my head all the time — things that sound exciting and creative and maybe a little crazy. I don’t always know if they make financial sense, but they make my heart light up when I think about them.

So for now, I’m giving myself permission to dream without rushing the outcome.

To keep building slowly.
To keep learning.
To keep carving out time to do what I love.

Because at the end of the day, that’s really what this journey is about — creating a life where I get to spend more time doing the things that fill my heart.

Proverbs 16:9 reminds us:
“In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.”

So I’ll keep working in my little workshop, trusting that if those bigger dreams are meant to happen, the doors will open when the timing is right.

And if that dream ever does include an old building somewhere, just know you probably won’t find me standing at a checkout counter — you’ll find me in the back of the shop, covered in paint or sawdust, working on the next piece and dreaming up what it could become.

Until then, I’ll keep blooming right where I’m planted.

🤎 Keep blooming, even while you’re still building the dream.

Now excuse me while I go refinish furniture and window shop old buildings online.
