Choosing Faith Over Fear

Choosing Faith Over Fear

This week brought an unexpected pause — the kind that slows you down and makes you hold your breath for a moment.

There weren’t immediate answers, and there didn’t need to be. Instead, there was a quiet moment — and a prayer.

Moments like that are a reminder of how easy it is to let fear take the lead. To imagine every worst-case outcome. To feel overwhelmed before anything has even had time to unfold. But I’m learning that fear is loud… and faith is often quiet.

So instead of spiraling, I chose to slow down. To breathe. To trust that God was already present in the unknown — before I ever felt it.

That doesn’t mean fear disappears. It just means it doesn’t get the final say.

Sometimes faith looks like waiting. Sometimes it looks like peace without clarity. And sometimes it’s simply choosing not to borrow tomorrow’s worries when today hasn’t even finished yet.

If you’re carrying something heavy this week — something you haven’t shared, something you’re praying through quietly — you’re not alone.

Keep blooming, even when faith has to be chosen one breath at a time.

“When I am afraid, I put my trust in You.” — Psalm 56:3
